Mission & Vision
Mission: To share the Hope and Freedom found in Jesus Christ.
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade.” 1 Peter 1:3-4 (NIV)
Vision: To help people move forward on the Pathway.
"And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness." Colossians 2:6-7 (NLT)
+1 Initiative: We believe that there is at least 1 person in everyone's lives that God wants us to share His love with. "Plus 1" is our language for helping us think about others.
52K Initiative: There are 52,000 people in Kosciusko County who are religiously unaffiliated - they are "nones." We believe God loves them and wants to use Pathway Church to share His Hope and Freedom in our county.
Pathway Church is located at the center of Kosciusko County. Within a 20 mile radius of the church campus, there are 52,000 people who are "Nones.” This means they have no religious or church affiliation. Some of these individuals may say they are Christians, but in terms of lifestyle, they are not connected with a local church. That's 66% of our county!
We believe God loves every single person in our county, and he's planted Pathway here to share his hope with them. Some of the 52,000 people literally don't know who Jesus is, or anything about the salvation he brings.
What would you be willing to do to reach 52,000 people?
As a church, here are a few things we will do...
Forsake our comforts to bring God's comfort to the hurting
Passionately invest our time, energy and resources into that which Jesus cares about most.
Storm the gates of hell and take back God's beloved.
In practical terms, we do this by praying and caring for our +1 person. God puts people in our lives that we can love on his behalf. Each of us can ask God to show us who that person is, and then be his loving servant to that person. In other words, even if they don't come to church, we'll bring the church to them.
